Role: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Prestigious Boutique Hotel and Exclusive Wedding Venue
Salary: £20,000-22,000
Location: North Skipton

** You MUST have strong Food & Beverage Management Manager experience and be a genuinely warm and charismatic people person for this role as it is very much about the service. Due to public transport restrictions, you must drive and have a car for this role! **

Our client, a stunning prestigious boutique hotel and exclusive wedding venue, is looking for a highly-experienced, hands-on and passionate Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help manage their popular operation on the outskirts of Skipton. This breathtakingly beautiful property not only caters for guests and visitors coming from afar and wide for bed and breakfast services; it also hosts a variety of high-end weddings, events and is also renowned for its quality afternoon teas.

As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, personality and service are both key. Therefore you will be a genuinely warm, charismatic and a natural people person. You will be well-presented, confident, with a strong passion for hospitality not to mention great people skills as the face of the business. As this is a hands-on managerial and operations role where you will be overseeing a well-established team of highly-experienced staff across and will be leading from the front; all whilst motivating and getting the best out of an the team both as individuals and as a team.

The successful candidate will need to be friendly and have a great personality. You will need an enthusiastic, genuine and friendly approach, all whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction and quality standards are of paramount priority.

The fantastic reputation and impeccable service are key to the success of the operation. With this in mind you should be a strong representative for the business.

Required Experience:

* Strong food and beverage experience in a quality hotel or events venue environment.
* Strong experience in banqueting catering for 100+ guests in a quality setting
* A strong passion for providing impeccably high quality service
* A great personality - warm, passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, people-focused and adaptable to all personalities.
* Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
* A great communicator - excellent at developing relationships with the kitchen team, front of house team, senior management and others involved
