An Assistant Manager is wanted for this high end country dining pub that is part of a luxury hotel operation.
This pub has a great reputation for its fantastic pub dining menu that is always cooked to perfection using the best local ingredients. A busy venue with a huge amount of local repeat business as well as providing alternative dining for hotel residents.
As Assistant Manager you will be actively involved in all areas, being able to deputise in the absence of the GM. Due to the nature of the business the role will be very strongly focused on restaurant and bar operations.
Along with day to day operational management you will be involved in and accountable for training, service delivery, guest relations, standards, stock controls and ordering, cash management and administration procedures.
You will ensure a strong team environment with excellent communication across all departments within the hotel.
Candidates will come from a quality food lead background, either, pubs, restaurants or hotels. You must have a very strong knowledge of food and drink and a real passion for service and standards. You will have worked to a similar junior management , supervisor or Head Waiter level and be competent in shift or team management.
An outgoing personality and the ability to communicate well at all levels is essential.
