Head Chef required at this busy country food lead pub and restaurant. This popular venue is owned by a regional brewery and has a great reputation for ts fresh food and award winning beer. Along with an 80 cover restaurant they have a large garden and in summer can serve 300 covers per day.
The pub has seasonally changing menus with a mix of core company menu items and daily specials, using award winning suppliers and supporting local producers as much as possible.
As Head Chef you will be fully accountable for the kitchen operation, managing and motivating your team, managing stocks, suppliers and ordering, health and hygiene, maintaining constant high food standards, controlling GPs and budgets.
As a Head Chef for this business you will need a good background in working in a fresh food operation as well as having experience with high volume. The company works of menu specks with some input from the Head Chef.
You will have a high level of kitchen skill and be able to train and develop your team in working in a full fresh food operation. You will be calm with great communication skills and able to deliver in busy periods.
Strong kitchen management skills and the ability to manage budgets is essential.
Due to location is will be essential to have your own transport. It will be a mix of straight and split shift. Basic salary up to 35k plus bonuses and great benefits along with a strong support network within the region and a company offering excellent training and development.
Full eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
