Food and Beverage Manager needed at this great business, a historic hotel at the centre of a busy market town. A fantastic opportunity to be part of the management team as this hotel undergoes development and relaunch.
Following fresh investment the hotel recently launched a new high quality restaurant concept which is aiming to gain Rosette awards alongside the casual bistro and they are also pushing the wedding and event business.
As Food and Beverage Manager you will take responsibility for the day to day operations, from breakfast through to evening service and all event operations. The General Manager is looking for a manager who will help push the venue, and have creative and fresh ideas on how to improve and develop the business further. This role has great potential to grow into a more senior managerial role as the business develops.
General responsibilities will include:
* team training and development
* managing service standards and consistency
* driving sales
* day to day operational management
* cash and stock controls
* working with other HODs to achieve business goals
Candidates must have previous management experience in a good hotel food and beverage operation and be able to manage a multi outlet business.. You must have real drive and enthusiasm to be part of a growing business. You need to be a self starter and contribute proactively to the growth of the business.This company can offer excellent training and support for the right candidate.
Strong restaurant and event operational skills and team leadership ability required along with solid management and financial knowledge. A proactive and sales driven attitude is needed, you must be an ideas person.
