Second Chef wanted for a busy fresh food destination pub, beautiful riverside location

Food is served lunch and dinner, and is popular with both locals and tourists alike. They focus on great pub food done well, everything is prepared freshly on site with a mixture of core menu items and your own daily specials.

This venue is part of a leading brewery, offering great support functions along with excellent training and career opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced chef who is competent in working with fresh food and leading a team in the kitchen. In the absence of the Head Chef you will take full control in all areas of kitchen management.

It will be a mix of split and straight shifts, with a key focus on upholding company standards in terms of food service and hygiene regulations

Previous experience in working in a busy kitchen is essential along with the ability to work with fresh food. You will be a team player and able to think on your feet.

Your own transport is essential to be considered for this role. 

Salary up to 25k for the right person with great benefits and ongoing career development.
