An experienced Human Resources Manager is needed for this busy year round hotel and resort operation. The hotel is part of a leading hospitality company and offers excellent stability and long term career development.
As Human Resources Manager you will oversee all aspects of training and human resources for the hotel. As part of the senior management team you will report directly to the hotel General Manager but work closely with all department managers on a day to day basis.
Day to day responsibilities will cover:
Recruitment, staff selection, inductions, training, appraisals
Management development programmes
Staff welfare, live in accommodation
Payroll, budgets, reports, forecasting
Driving employee engagement, reducing staff turnover
Adherence to company policies and procedures
Keeping up to date with all relevant legislation
Hotel Duty Management
We are looking for candidates who are CIPD qualified and have previous experience as a HR Manager, ideally in a hotel environment. You will have excellent communication skills and a passion for developing people. You must be able to work under your own initiative, be very organised and hit tight deadlines. You will be resourceful and proactive with a creative approach to developing an excellent working environment.
