Assistant Hotel Manager - Luxury Boutique Country House Hotel
Salary: £25,000-27,000 + Fantastic benefits + Generous Gratuities
Location: Preston

** You MUST have strong Assistant Hotel Manager experience (ideally in a quality small/boutique hotel setting). Due to public transport restrictions, you must drive and have a car for this role! **

Our client, a stunning boutique country house hotel and events, is looking for a highly-experienced, hands-on and passionate Assistant Hotel Manager to help manage their popular operation on the outskirts of Preston. This beautiful property not only caters for guests and visitors coming from afar and wide; it also hosts a variety of high-end private events including weddings and also corporate events ranging from conferences and product launches to fairs, exhibitions and celebrations.

As Assistant Hotel Manager you will be a natural people person, well-presented, confident, with a strong passion for hospitality and great people skills as a host and the face of the business. As this is a hands-on operations role where you will be overseeing all departments, we are looking for strong managers who are very hands-on a with experience of overseeing a large team of staff across the entire business. You will be leading from the front whilst motivating and getting the best out of an experienced team.

The successful candidate will need to be friendly and have a great personality. You will need an enthusiastic, genuine and friendly approach, all whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction and quality standards are of paramount priority.

The fantastic reputation and impeccable service are key to the success of the operation. With this in mind you should be a strong representative for the business.

Required Experience:

* Strong hotel management experience in a 4* country house or luxury boutique hotel
* Strong F&B and experience in weddings and events catering for up to 100+ guests 
* A great personality - fun, passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, people-focused and adaptable to all personalities.
* Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
* A great communicator - excellent at developing relationships with the kitchen team, front of house team, senior management and others involved
